Let’s grow together

Granny’s Garden School was founded in 2002 by Roberta Paolo, a grandmother who understood the potential that a garden has not only to connect children with their natural world, but also to solidify and underscore key concepts learned in the classroom.

GGS is based on the campus of Loveland Elementary and Primary Schools in Loveland, Ohio, but the community of individuals who support and benefit from our programming is much broader.

Our gardens and nature trail are tended by an important network of volunteers whose work both maintains and beautifies these spaces and provides fresh produce for the LIFE Food Pantry, serving our neighbors in need. Our garden educators are knowledgeable and experienced individuals with an infectious passion for the outdoors, gardening, life sciences, and nutrition.
