SUMMER OUTDOOR ADVENTURES | Mini-Camp for Kids Entering 1st - 4th Grade

Join us this summer for mini camp! Mini camp will take place once per week over six weeks at our garden and trail property.

Each week we’ll offer a different hands-on activity where kids will be able to use their senses to discover what’s happening around them in nature! Kids can expect to enjoy nature based games, trail hikes, finding living creatures, crafting with natural materials, discovering with magnifying glasses, tasting what’s growing in the garden, planting, harvesting and more.

Mini Camp Details:

Mini-camp is designed for kids entering grades 1st-4th in the 2024-25 schoolyear. Registrants do not need to attend Loveland Public Schools to register, but do need to be entering grades 1, 2, 3 or 4 in the fall. Mini-camp will have a maximum of 20 participants and is a great alternative to large, full-day camp options. Your mini-campers will have plenty of help and supervision with both Leaders (our program educators) and Shepherds (assistant helpers) present at every session. We hope you’ll join us!

All mini-campers who register to attend all 6 sessions will receive a Loveland Learning Garden t-shirt!

Camp Dates: 6/19, 6/26, 7/3, 7/10, 7/17, 7/24 (rain make-up date 7/31)

Camp Time: 9:30am - 11:00am

Location: 600 Loveland-Madeira Rd. Loveland, OH 45140 (Details on where to go when you arrive for camp will be emailed out beforehand.)

Registration Fee: $65 for all 6 sessions or $15 per session

In the event that we surpass our maximum registration, priority will be given to those registered for all six-sessions first. We require a minimum of 10 participants in order to staff and facilitate mini-camp. We’ll let you know if we don’t reach our minimum number, in which case a full refund will be given.

Inclement Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather you’ll be notified via email by 8:30am the morning of mini-camp if that day’s session is canceled. Due to the length of our mini-camp sessions and the safety requirements it will not be possible to delay our camp start time for that day and we will have to cancel. While we hope this won’t happen, we’ve got a make-up date lined up so no fun is missed!
